Shaping the Future of Education: STEM Discovery Campaign 2026 is Officially Live

The STEM Discovery Campaign (SDC26) , one of the most prestigious international movements in the world of education, has opened its doors to the world! Organized by Scientix and strategically partnering with the NBS Academy project this year, the campaign officially launched on February 1st.

As SAYEG Association and YLGET (Youth Leading Green Energy Transition) , we are proud to be official partners in this visionary project and to connect Turkey's education ecosystem with this global network.

What is STEM Discovery Campaign?

The STEM Discovery Campaign is an international celebration that brings together teachers, educators, schools, universities, libraries, and youth clubs every year. Its aim is to raise awareness of work in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), encourage future generations to pursue these fields, and reward innovative educational methods.

This year's campaign focuses particularly on two critical themes:

Sustainability: Education for a green future.
Nature-Based Solutions (NBS): Innovative educational models inspired by nature, in collaboration with NBSAcademy.

Calendar: When can you join?

The campaign process is spread over a long period, offering all educators the opportunity to participate:

Campaign Period: February 1 – April 30, 2026.
Event Summit: April 25-30, 2026 (A high concentration of events is expected during these dates).
Retrospective Registration: You can participate in the reward process by adding all your STEM activities from May 2025 onwards to the map!

What counts as an "event"?

Any action that supports STEM education is considered an activity:

Classroom practices and learning scenarios,
Workshops, STEM festivals or webinars,
Inviting expert speakers to the class,
Discussing project-based learning outcomes with students.

Reward your achievements: #ScientixAwards

Every event added to the map qualifies for nomination in one or more of the more than 20 Scientix Award categories, which recognize innovation and excellence in education. These awards offer a unique opportunity to showcase your work across Europe and inspire other educators.
